That's my concern as well. It looks as if they were trying to bypass the two exchanges (but Oslo Børs caught on to them) since it doesn't make much sense to not issue a PR about the TRW-distribution (unless they want to avoid a deep dive post distribution).

However, it is the exchanges who set the ex dates and RD did provide us with an example of two different ex dates with Statoil (or Equinor as they are called now), so it is a possibility (hence my gamble today).

I am also a bit surprised that we haven't seen a pm about the cash dividend

It fits into their pattern though; we desperately needed the PR about the cash dividend policy and the TRW-distribution, jet they chose to wait with the PR and state it in the Q-report instead. Hence I believe they might do the same thing now; issue a PR with the Q-report on November 14th, which also happens to be the payment date of the TRW-shares... A coincidence? ...
