Ramberts and others...For those curious about double counts, today's activity in MMTIF is a perfect example.

DATE TIMESTAMP PRICE VOLUME TICK DIRECTION CHANGE
10/30/2018 15:40:07 0.029 5,334 -0.00
10/30/2018 10:17:31 0.03 5,334 0.00

The real volume today was 5334 bot at .03 cents early today [ the above times are ED time] and the offset [ what the seller received] 20 minutes before the close was.029 cents per share. And that was the for same 5334 as the buyer purchased earlier.

Trade handled by CDEL who has been acting for the estate sellers. And CDEL had done a day trade short sale in the morning and closed short sale by purchasing the exact same amount from the ultimate seller 20 minutes before the close.

This happens daily on nearly all BB and pink sheet listed shares. It is the only method the MM can use to do a sale for a client without the MM taking a risk of his own capital.

And the various on line sites who track this activity report it as a short sale and if one does not know what i have just explained with an perfect example one will draw wrong conclusions as to the amount of shorting and as the volume traded that day.
