I'm wondering if it is the actual practice of "shorting" doing damage or if a constant "looping" of the recording about the subject is doing the damage.

Look at what the renewal of the subject today has done... but this time linked to posters on boards that use numonic devices to highlight the poster's apparent level of success in trading, I thought the earning of stars was due to "picks" made by the posters as whether or not they are actually trading could never be verified.

I don't know, when I look at a company like plni (the ceo has been very outspoken about the naked shorting) and I see it performing like it is I expect to see many more similarities to ATWT...but I don't. IMO ATWT is far more credible than plni. For one thing ATWT has the confidence of "Health and Human Services," a very well established relationship with an award winning insurance company which ATWT's product line fits well with, announced yesterday, the entering into agreements with companies providing services at our national airports which since 9/11 are very scrutinized. ATWT is also committed enough to its business concept to lobby our elected officials to pass actual legislation which affects ATWT's product.

One other thing I've noticed when I use the feature called "Market Movers" contained in my "Scottrade" real time streamer. There seems to be an entity that is capable of "fencing off" certain PK and otcbb companies for their own use. I know for a fact that even on days when these "obscure" companies are moving, individual investors don't get any action but huge players do. I noticed it is usually on overall down days that action in these types of companies pops but again, let me repeat, for some reason it is "off-limits' to small time (> 1,000,000 - 5,000,000 share trades) and at the end of the day the stock will be right back where it was but with huge, huge volumes. It will stay untouched until a day occurs when the overall markets are down and then these obscure companies suddenly jump to life...for the mega trades.

Also consider on days when we end with the "alleged" MM signal (which I still am not sure is a real system but seems many think it is) of 500 shares @.0046, which if memory serves me right means "need shares - gap one way or the other - usually to the direction of the trade....
I am just hypothesizing here, but we did gap up and then we began to hear the fear card of massive shorting being played, while the subject is connected to ex-MMs, from other boards that are awarded "stars" for past picks to add apparent legitimacy to them, (repeat the stars are earned for picks - actual real trades can't be verified) and then add comments like "we are all screwed" etc., etc. if I was a conspiracy buff I would say this was a great form of influence by suggestion.
JMHO,
PS - Is it me or is it a coincidence that some here on I-Hub suddenly have relationships with two of the highest rated "pickers" on the board mentioned? Why now and why haven't they added to the conversation prior to this? It is curious to me.
