ATWEC Technologies Unveils National Child Safety "Spokesperson"
Wednesday November 1, 1:04 pm ET

MEMPHIS, TN--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 1, 2006 -- ATWEC Technologies, Inc. (Other OTC:ATWT.PK - News) announced today that they have introduced its Kiddie Kid safety Spokes Kid at a charity event in Memphis, Tennessee. Kiddie Kid was designed to draw the attention of children to the importance of safety and to promote the Kiddie Systems products as a solution to unsafe situations. Kiddie Kid is a life size person designed to capture the attention of our children, while teaching them necessary safety skills as they are transported via bus, van, or cars. "Kiddie Kid makes all the sense in the world because he appeals to issues associated with our children, particularly in transportation and other matters well beyond. This appeal for the children will realize captive audiences -- which are now the parents -- to becoming more aware of the Kiddie Systems safety products and their necessity," said President/CEO Alex T. Wiley.

Children in attendance today were provided copies of the company-produced comic book "The Adventures of Kiddie Kid." ATWEC will disseminate the serialized comic on a semi-annual basis to the preschool and educational systems, keeping the child safety issue before the eyes of children, parents and school administrators. The comic will be available for download from the corporate website November 15, 2006.

The company-sponsored party on the grounds of the S. Parkway E. Kiddie Learning Center was attended by Tennessee State Representatives and local celebrities. Tennessee was the first state to mandate child protective safety devices on all school buses and day care vans. U.S. Senate candidate Harold Ford, Jr. (D-TN) is among the supporters of the federal bill to require rear-view visibility standards on all vehicles to prevent back-over accidents.

As sales of Kiddie Systems products grow, ATWEC Technologies will donate a portion of profits to its Safety Charity. The charity will provide Kiddie Systems units to organizations lacking the needed funds to equip their vehicles. It will also call for donations from the public as awareness for protective measures in child transportation grows.
