Hi. He highly recommended Pretium Resources (PVG). He said that in a gold bull market it could easily hit $50 a share. He also highly recommended Hellix Resources (HLLXF) and Abington Resources (ABIZF). I think those two are owned by the same people? Both of these were speculative picks by Bob. PVG was not speculative, but a solid play. Abington fell off the face of the earth! But Hellix seems to still be around... barely.
Although speculative, Bob seriously recommended it because he knew and respected the owners and said that they (HLLXF) had real, proven and probable quality deposits underground. But they were awaiting permit approval. For some reason they never got it. Bob was a real believer in PVG and HLLXF! Hellix was victim to extreme naked shorting like MANY other gold and silver stocks. Is it still a worthy and rewarding investment... IDK? Hellix too fell off the face of the earth! Plus they haven’t posted any new updates or anything. Almost impossible to contact management! (To think, one time I had the CEO’s personal contact phone number.) I think you said that you still believe in the company and it’s worth the continued investing? IDK, is it?! ABIZF is .001 a share, and I think it has been delisted. HLLXF is like .01 a share, but strangely selling (asking price) for .03 a share. Why?!
FYI, Bob Chapman seriously recommend Mint-State Graded MS-64 Double Eagle or St. Gaudens gold coins as well. (At least MS-64, or higher if you wish and if you can afford.) He said in a true gold bull market they could easily hit $5,000 a coin! So... the aforementioned gold coins and regular gold (and silver) bullion were STRONGLY RECOMMENDED by him. Also Pretium Resources (PVG) was as well.
Hellix/Abington was a spec play.
Isn’t it crazy that I remember all of this so many years later?! LOL.
Shows how much respect and admiration I had for that man! What a great, brilliant, and humble man. A true gift to humanity. A gift sent from the Almighty Heavenly Creator to us.
