- A buyback will increase share prices. Stocks trade in part based upon supply and demand, and a reduction in the number of outstanding shares often precipitates a price increase. Therefore, a company can bring about an increase in its stock valuation by creating a supply shock via a share repurchase.

5 billion shares outstanding seems onerous to me. I might be wrong but then again nothing else so far has caused s sustained rise. I totally agree we need revenue and soon but not sure why the share structure can’t be looked at as well to raise share value sooner rather than later. Just my thoughts and IMO.
