Damn 7 billion is a ton of money. I haven't been able to determine what Apple was paying previously for the Panasonic patents. Was hoping to find out more during the case but the sealing motion makes it harder to do so. Watching other similar cases I am thinking this case falls within the 50 to 149 million range. But man there are some good signs with the ITC getting involved and the previous cases against HTC, Apple, and ZTE that this case could explode to a greater monetary amount.
