Ontario was originally going to be only OCS stores like LCBO. But they will allow the private sector alongside OCS. Public companies like Canopy will be able to get licensed for private retail in Ontario but will be restrictions to how many they can open to avoid domination of a few big companies, giving the little guys like us a chance :D
