I had a feeling some of the people I've been talking to have been from here. :)
I'll say this to all here as I have to some reaching out directly. I cannot talk about anything private or non-public between our company and Kona. I will not violate Robert/Chris's trust, and cannot risk losing the only thing allowing a small startup distribution company like ourselves to compete in the market, which is our exclusive distribution agreement that we've signed.
With that said, I can talk about my business progress in our market. Over the weekend, I broke down the sales process I've found myself using in an attempt to streamline it and improve it further with the capabilities of our inventory management system. This is in prep to bring on some sales folks I've been talking with, who are very ambitious and driven like myself. This will help us saturate our market with Kona Gold faster than I could ever do alone on my own, while working my primary job.
I find what excites me about selling is targeting publicly visible or high foot traffic type retailers, hence my first client being on the news and in several malls lol. Tonight I was in a popular local health food store that has 4 locations. The manager and 3 employees who gathered around for samples were blown away. The manager assured me I would be hearing from them soon and asked for my sell sheet (pricing, pics, UPC, weight, dimensions, etc...) and multiple business cards. So I'm pretty excited. I also may close my first PALLET, that's right, I have a newer hemp shop who is interested in bulk. Things are really heating up, and my next high target is a warehouse grocery chain here in WI that would be a huge massive win.
I can also tell you all that Chris is the real deal, mythical unicorn genius we all think he is after talking to him for quite some time. This is a golden long play for those able to tie their money up for awhile. Unfortunately I cannot, but will keep the small position I have left in it until they are national.
