My personal opinion: Why would Intel stop developing 10nm? It would be stupid of them to stop it.




The twitter account witeken wrote this in june:

Redoing 10nm development in a less aggressive way doesn't make much sense because that costs a large amount of time. They can now better do 7nm immediately and there (fortunately) they were less aggressive from the start, so that will probably work.



I think they didn't kill it.

Intel talked about:
10nm _ 10nm+ _ 10nm++

I think 10nm++ is dead.
Instead they seem to speed up things around 7nm

The big question is -> Is Intel using Cobalt in 7nm or is this the big P.I.T.A.

No one else is using Cobalt.
