Merrill it varies what I pay that is just for NYSE stocks and its a 7 figure account so I get quite the deal, Etrade is 4 and TD is 3. I like the TD for charts (T or Swim) and longer term holding like my AVMXY and others, but, I buy all over the place with profits from other OTC stocks so my buying has no rhyme or reason especially at this point because of the multiples I am looking for I don't play AVMXY anymore just buy and hold, I may be out there but I am looking 3X by December and 6X by June, but that's just my fantasy, he he.

What broker do you use? I think Etrade and Ameritrade were 6.95 per trade when opened, if you do a lot of trading just call them, my Etrade came down without asking I think because I use it so much as it gives best execution for pennies. It went to 5 then 4 would love it to go to 3 TD I called when another trader told me I should.

A lot has to do with account size too, and frequency in trades and your long term holdings (like 20+ year holdings)as they use those to loan to short etc etc, so Merril it changes frequently sometimes is practically nothing. But, I don't exactly know what the formula is.
