It will take a while for the U.S. Treasury to create new policy and right now in this current administration regulations have relaxed and the arm of Treasury (OCC) that deals with banking is not coming at the Banks as hard right now. Maybe in this relaxed environment, Crypto Tech can invest in stronger controls and get ahead of future government policy and regulations! Speaking only from a U.S. regulatory viewpoint. Here is a site with great information on some of the basics, which is where the governing bodies are concentrating in terms of stability, hacking etc. There is some "Dummie" style content on this one site that I thought was pretty informative and easy to digest!
