Selling EZM(LMC), BWLRF, HBM, RNO,
I was out of town the past 10 days (fishing the Bisbee marlin tourny in Cabo, where the winning boat took a check for $3,902,997 for 2 fish...WOW!) and spent all day trying to catch up on the board.
Many are contemplating selling base metal stocks. I have large positions in the above mentioned and have held through thick and thin for most of a year. I feel we are in the early stages of a boom in commodities that will last years, perhaps 10's of years. All of my thinking is based on a billion people moving from huts w/outhouses and rice bowls, to houses w/indoor plumbing, chicken with the rice and buying a car. The wheels are in motion and the U.S. has way less influence than most want to believe. I think this earnings season may be the one that does't see all of the base metal stocks sell off. Prices of metal are way up and the 4th quarter is 1/3rd of the way made. Yes, there will be pullbacks, buy them!
