I agree with U. Let me say this, though. If by some miracle the Republicans take both Houses of Congress, I'm going to buy infrastructure stocks, including more USCR. All of the press about the deficit might prevent Larry Kudlow from pursuing further tax cuts. Once tax cuts are out of the way, the next focus should be infrastructure.

Back to the original topic. To the extent that higher interest rates cause a slowdown in sales of new homes, there will be less concrete used in the industry. But new home sales have been in the doldrums for some time, so the impact might not be too great.

I don't know how much higher rates would affect bigger projects--condos, apartments, etc.


In any event, I sure wish I had waited before buying USCR!
