My eval GSK perspective on MERCK purchase RNAI

GSK has already offered $700+ million in milestone payments to RNAI for rights to respiratory diseases.

Why would RNAI not up the offer by another $500M and get the whole company, including oncology?

My common sense tells me we've not seen the whole story yet on the Merck buyout of RNAI. This buyout of RNAI could get wild, imo.
