Big money will only jump onboard if it doesn’t cost them money. They will not proceed if it cuts into their profits. They are all trying to figure out how this great idea can make them money. Where will this money come from? It will have to come from the individual consumer. But how will they profit if the consumer says no. I’m not paying. The institution is responsible for their own shit. Right now they are trying to give it away for free so individuals and institutions will try it and say yes we like this. Either way with security or block chain this is going to be a bit before anything big happens. But it’s coming for sure.
