Well, I've been reading about BK's and such lately and a new delay wrinkle surfaced that I believe the principal and his cohort wife intentionally did with this BK filing.

One can intentionally have omissions and gaps and then the lawyers and courts will come back to them and admonish them but give them time to correct a poorly presented BK filing. Then correct a few things, resubmit it and they will call them out again and this can go on quite a long time. Courts don't really care as it gives them space as well.

How long the courts let them get away with this technique is up to the judge.

I think that's what is happening here too.
