Regarding beachfront property, the Los Angeles Times has been running stories on the Big One that may not hit in my lifetime as I am a geezer.

My casita sits about 100 miles from the blue Pacific and about four miles from the San Andreas Fault. I would trade the distances if I could but do not have the bux to buy in Malibu. I would take my chances on my house sliding into the shark-infested waters as the shaker happens just to rub elbows with the elites. I'm easy.
