Probably not. "If something seems to good to be true, it usually is" (although people forget that the quote is "usually") and when they then encounter all the lies being spread about the company only a very few will bother to look behind the lies and try to find out what's really going on.
Once we've had some dividend-payments things might change (hence my preference for monthly dividends). So that's the irony here; if the PPS increases so that we're trading at PE of say 8 then people are more likely to invest.
