I messaged TDA this morning and received the following response regarding the BTHCF to BTHCD reverse split and symbol change. Hope this answers some of your questions:

Thank you for reaching out to us. The number you are seeing is that stock's CUSIP, a unique identifying number for that particular security. And you are correct, when it is showing that way on your positions page it indicates that there is a corporate action under way, in this case the reverse split and symbol change. Allocation is supposed to be today in regards to BTHCF so long as the transfer agent sends out the new shares to us, so everything should be complete by end of business today or on Monday if there are some delays.

It is possible that the transfer agent could be delayed, so if you do not see an update to your positions page by the end of the day Monday, please let us know and we will be happy to provide additional information.
