You should double-check anything on message boards but...

They were in-office on Some occasions in the pre-otc days, of course, because I have proof of that and anyone else could verify same for proof on their own. I also have proof that they were Not there
on Most days and others had same opportunity to verify that as well.
Even the post office confirmed that they were rarely (and then Never) in office altho they were still paying rent on most expensive office-suite in Manhattan.
