Over time traders evolve a plan/system that works for them. Most traders gain a bias for what is working for them. There are enough charts and comments on this board to illuminate a plan I find successful. Not my intention to seek converts, only to offer an option if someone is seeking outside their own plan and mindset.

I think the greatest value of a board like this one is the potential to broaden one's knowledge base from seeing how others use indicators, set up charts and ma's etc. For example, it is only in the last 8 months that I have added the Keltner channel to my tool box. I learned about it from another poster, researched it, experimented/backtested and now use it within my previous system and increased entry and exit timing. Without their willingness to share I wouldn't be experiencing the present benefits. Yet, the piece that is of benefit to me is slightly different than what it adds to the other traders system.

I agree that better foresight is what the most successful systems contain.
To address the skepticism relative to my post I ask the following questions and repost a previous chart.
No need to answer, but a worthwhile exercise IMO.

A viewer should be able to see a minimum of 4 predictive elements in this chart.
Also, there are a minimum 3 direction change confirmations.
What information did the ema's reveal? What predictions did the midlines offer?
Is the 50period green line really adding anything?
How did volume assist in clarifying the conclusions?

Green Trades.
