For example, the institution listed in the table as the owner is probably a sponsor of a family of ETFs or mutual funds. If so, then this security is owned by a fund or several funds within the family, and not directly owned by the listed institution.

Ok. I think I've misinterpreted how an N-Q works. I was assuming if dentsply owns an underlying security and black stone, for instance owns a position of dentsply some how that reports the underlying security on Blackstones N-Q. Evidently thats not the case and the underlying security is hidden elsewhere within the N-Q.

To see the data. use the link to click on blackstone. then use F3 key to find amda. click on N-Q and it should take you to the document.

From there search amda. I haven't found an instance in any of the 3 N-Q's, but dentsply shows up in all 3. So does Maxim Integrated products. I think Maxim got hold of some preferred as part of that last deal.

Not trying to mislead anybody. Just trying to understand what's the correlation that made all 3 N-Q's pop on AMDA's fintel. Is it because Maxim owns the underlying preferred?
