if he said yes, he would be influencing the stock price with inside info, see what happened to Elon Musk when he tweeted about going private, it was seen as stock price manipulation, if Goulding said yes he and everything he's involved with would be destroyed. actions speak louder than words and the paperwork is a big action taken.
