I don’t know much about the process but a simple google search returned results of 12-18 months with an expected time frame for the complete process of 3-5 years. This was consistent across multiple legal sites advertising for services assisting in the process. You may have had a good experience but I don’t think that is the norm. The USPTO claims most parents are issued within 18 months. Thanks
