Old news... and you were correct up to...

"...Once done, and when the remaining liabilities are cancelled, the equity in BioAmber Inc. will be cancelled.

FINRA will then remove the BIOAQ symbol and the shares will be cancelled...

Because you already know that it could merge and become one... and trade in the US. If not mistaken, the only filing that is to be filed is a 10Q... but that should be easy since it takes care of the BK months.

No one knows what this will do... neither you included.
