I'm looking for a BTD announcement in the next 3-4 weeks. Given that the company first mentioned the pending BTD application on Sep 11 in the 10-K and did not mention it in the Brilacidin PR on Sep 5, I suspect the application was made sometime in that interim, say Friday Sep 7. With a 60-day BTD window, that means Nov 6 FDA deadline, 3 1/2 weeks from now.

If we do get B-OM BTD, a deal may come pretty quickly after that. Certainly, the BP is waiting on at least that FDA response before agreeing on terms. (This doesn't mean a deal hinges on BTD, just that particulars of the terms would. Nor do I mean deal timing hinges on the BTD decision, just that it's on the critical path to deal consummation.)

This is all just reasonable guesswork.
