SC: How did things fare for you with these two hurricanes? Our good friends in Beaufort, SC dodged a bullet. They're right down the street from a salt water tide pool. A big storm surge would have flooded them but thankfully it didn't happen. Our North Carolina relatives in Greensboro are currently without power for 2 days as I write this. In Austin we're wetter than usual lately. Makes up for the summer drought which was severe. Just biding my time with regard to the markets. I don't trust the long side at all, yet I've been premature going short and it has cost me about $50 K.
