I appreciate the information that poster paid for then shared.

That post explains why the hearing was cancelled, but it still leaves us wondering why the SRDP case was closed. With the case being closed, it cannot continue. There can be no status report hearings and no motion can be made to terminate the custodianship completing the process.

I honestly don't know why this custodianship was closed. Never in my many many years of following custodianship petitions have I seen a case closed midway through the process exactly like this. Maybe the closing of the case was a clerical error and there will be a motion made to reopen the case to continue forward with the process. I guess we'll see.
