There is nothing in SNAP for FB. They have Instagram, which is doing just fine. There mybe a few patents etc that would be useful, but only if they could be picked up for pennies.

I was thinking something more like Apple that wanted to get into the space. At least they could give it the funding thats required. Even so, they would not pay an inflated price $1-2 max (probably a lot less)

We will see, earnings call is critical. Snaps future will be called on Oct 25th. Personally I would not want to hold long / short over earnings release, but im sure some here are much braver than me,
