As most of you know, my state (Kentucky) is pushing hard for the growing of hemp. The entire state has been blanketed this week with ads in all newspapers from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture asking (almost begging) Kentucky farmers to apply to become certified hemp growers. We now have over 6,700 acres of it, which is double what we had this time last year. I think this is encouraging news, especially to know my state government and McConnell are strongly pushing this.
