How big of a problem is it if you need to replace the scanner in your computer work space? Whether you keep your cables and wires neat or messy, it’s really not a big deal. That is, unless your work space is the take-it-or-leave-it Cemtrex SmartDesk which has the scanner built into the table top. With the time-tested work space that most people have, it’s simply a matter of plugging another scanner into an electrical outlet and running a cable between it and the computer. It’s even easier if the scanner has a wireless connection. And you can set the scanner anywhere on your desk that works best for you. A lot of people even have the printer/scanner/fax combo. And then there’s the SmartDesk scanner. You’re pretty much stuck with what you’ve got. You’re not going to run down to Office Max and grab its replacement on your lunch break. The same holds true if you need to replace a keyboard or monitor. The novelty of the Cemtrex SmartDesk will really fall apart when any of its components falls apart. Although the computer/genital warmer built into the underside of the desk could come in handy on a winter day, I think most people might be distracted from the task at hand by sweaty, clammy junk.
