Busy morning for me so I didn’t have time to really dive into VDM Biochemical but based on just reading the press release this is my personal view. Opiant pharmaceutical & Emergent BioSolutions who bought Amphastar Pharmaceuticals, the original inventor of narcan have a lot to worry about if VDM-001 represents potential alternative to naloxone for overdose reversal. VDM-001 is a Synthetic compound so it can be made quicker and cheaper. A naloxone based drug for reversing drug overdoses will have no impact on BioCoreRx’s naltrexone implant. Now why would VDM Biochemicals want to partner up with anybody? Because they obviously need money in order to bring VDM-001 to market. So in my opinion with VDM Biochemical looking to partner up with BioCoreRx it tells me BioCoreRx has secured or believes it will soon secure enough funds to not only push their opioid addiction implant forward but be able to help VDM Biochemical with bringing VDM-001 to market! BioCoreRx future just got a bit brighter. Please feel free to pick apart my conclusion I’m only working on half a brain this morning since I am out of coffee lol.
