Why did I invest in UDFI?

It all comes down to location, location, location.

As of September 30, 2015, approximately 99% of our real property loans and investments are secured by or related to properties located in Texas and approximately 1% are secured by properties located in Florida. In addition, we have one real property loan secured by property in North Carolina which represents less than 1% of our real property loans and investments. The following table summarizes the location of our real property loans and investments as of September 30, 2015:

I have owned companies holding distressed real estate for many years. 56Chevy and will probably never forget California Coastal Communities (CALCQ), which was developing the Bolsa Chica mesa in Huntington Beach. This is really the first time I could actually touch the ground.
