I can't understand either way: if the funding news was bad/underwhelming, why release it on the last day of the standstill agreement?

If the funding news was good on the other hand, again, why release it on the last day of the standstill agreement?

Either way don't see the reason why the company prefers to do that instead of releasing the news 2-3 days before the standstill agreement expires.

Anyone have ideas to explain why?
