Yes, you still qualify if you buy between the record date and the ex-date and the ex-date is AFTER the record date





According to the video link above, you are NOT qualify if you buy the stock AFTER the ex-date. You are only qualify if you buy the stock BEFORE the ex-date. And the ex-date in not after the record date, it is before.
