Nobody but you took Putz's $80 share price seriously. Having said that, the stock market is emotional so there can be big spikes in price which dont make sense so anything is possible even if the fundamentals say it shouldn't happen. The reality is sometimes it does happen.

You also know that MolyCorp didnt go bankrupt because the share price rose to $78. Please dont mix apples and oranges in the discussion.
