There came a time here on planet earth that humans had become so evil and wicked that God said enough. Scripture tells us that when God looked upon the earth at that time that He regretted that He had made human beings and his heart was deeply troubled...He was grieved. So God sent the flood and everyone was destroyed except Noah and his 7 family members. When i think about that...it blows my mind that God was grieved and regretted creating us. But...it shows how personal God is and shows His love thru His wrath...wrath...something that humans often times forget about. I mean...look around...the world we live in today...do we expect or really believe that God is pleased with us...and we know...scripture tells us that God will one day not just get rid of us humans again. Next time He will wipe the slate clean as the heavens and earth will be totally destroyed...yet...without a second thought...most folks are living to some degree just as they were in the days of Noah...stay tuned! We have to keep in mind...God truly loves everyone with His perfect unconditional love. God truly desires to see everyone saved that we might spend eternity with Him in heaven...but...God has given all of us a free will to do whatever we want...when and how we want...all the way to letting us chose heaven or hell. So i ask you this morning...where are you headed? Do you know that you know without a shadow of any doubt that if today you die that in the blink of the eye you will before God...before Jesus...in Heaven hearing well done my good and faithful child...or...in the blink of the eye will you be in the torment of Hades awaiting judgement day to hear i never knew you and cast into the lake of fire in Hell. Serious business folks!
