This is the part that stuck as most not logical,

bob sold cwrn to brad for 3-3.5 million-but brad only made a down payment of .5 million and reportedly never made any further payments


Cotton can't "sell" CWRN, it's a public company. Bob can only sell his shares in the company and Ole bobby had only 42,000 shares left of CWRN.
CWRN was left an empty penniless shell with no assets after Brad took back PanAm Mexico, from CWRN. Why would Brad want CWRN?
