So a quick informal call to the Ohio medical marijuana program resource office yielded some VERY interesting info to share.
The Ohio state medical marijuana program is facing a mountain of legal delays apparently. Only a few of the approved growers are even active, no dispensaries are open, no product of any kind is available for sale anywhere, and NO patient registry has been completed. The state is actually hesitant to set a new target date for ANY dispensary to be open for business before the end of the year.
(you can google pretty much any Ohio resource or newspaper for more info on your own)
IN MY OPINION that is good news for RBII as it gives them time to iron out their Ohio plans, and if they choose to focus on Pennsylvania that is a GREAT move. As a resident of PA I can tell you first hand our program is active/open for legal business/thriving. It has already expanded very quickly in less than one year to include the sale of flower (previously prohibited at the program's inception).
