Each of us as we live our life here on planet earth...we know we must work to survive. We have to have a roof over our head...furnishings in that house...clothes on our back...a car to drive to work...we have bills to pay...we know we must work. Scripture even says if you want to eat you must work...right? However...scripture also says that we should be storing treasures in heaven...not...here on earth. So...lets look at that. Most all humans work their whole lives buying this..that and the other...grasping for the brass ring..trying to accumulate the best and biggest to make this life here on planet earth as cushy and comfortable as possible...and hear this...there is not necessarily anything wrong with that...but...we all know that most likely none of us will see 100 years old...and probably no where near that...am i right? So when we think of our life here on earth...and all the hard work and labor we put into it and then we look at heaven that is going to last forever...where is our time and talent making the most effort...storing treasures on earth or in heaven? Heres the thing. Heaven is NOT going to be the same for everyone...its all going to be fantastic...but...there really is going to be social status...so to speak...in heaven...but unlike here on earth...there is going to be zero pride..ego and sin in that social status...but...depending on how we have served Jesus and others here on earth...that is going to dictate..so to speak..where we are in our eternal reward. You see...when we get to heaven we are going to be given crowns for all the "good works" we have done as a believer..and those crowns we are going to present to King Jesus. So...i ask you...are you spending your life storing treasures in your brief stay here on planet earth...or...are you storing treasures in heaven where you are going to live forever" Think about it!
