those big trades u see after hours or even during hours way below bids its typically conversion shares, you dont want to see those but good to know when its happening...doesn't mean they still wont pump it higher... some will tell you its meaningless and that it was some sort of correction they dont know what they are talking about.
another possibility(which is also used often is a private investor with a lot of shares and no time to trade will often pay a companysuch as brokers like VNDM CFGN ASCM etc. in this scenario person wants to dumpsay 10 million shares but if he does it mixes in with the retail traders hewill have to put inmanyorders for all the partials and also run the risk of crashing the stock.
so tthey come to angreementwith a MM company and they work out negotiate a fair price to the seller and the market maker will guarantee u the full sale. so if he wanted to sell 10 million asap @ say 41 (for easy math example) the mm maker will offer them something favororable for them also..so they'll offer theseller guaranteed 7 million in one day..and they for their work will bank 3 mill off his 10 mill...remember these companies have a lot of tricks up their sleeves a lot of teams anda lot of money to get these things done.....hope this helps! member mark me please, I deserve it after all thistyping LOL
that is often why themms aren't scared to short naked on otc..when all the companies and ddebt holders are onverting and stock always going down they take the offer and make money...sometimes they get caught in their shorts though and the faucet ofshares dries up...that's whenu have a short squeeze....they are hell of a ride let metell you FAST money love those plays...if interested iwaswatching one today that ran out of shares they haven't filuted in 1.5 yearsandsellers dtopped selling in anticipation incoming info..so they got caught without shares unfortunately there was only acouple people buying! but when a pr comes out this week as long as the buyers out weight the sellers than the mms will be squeezed up because of demand.
if u noticed on amfe level 2lastdays had gaps in between levels...ask was .11, then .125 then .13 than suddenly 35 then 8 dollars …….I saw the signs all u need is volume in those situations but some are better positioned for a squeeze such as low OS, extremely great news or classicly many longs holding and locking their shares so they couldn't be borrows ..happened on owcp, dolv,potn, exxe, etc...and I saw thebeginnging of what I think will bea good one now....all in the ceos hands now and hes been groomed by pros so he should do goof for us fom here on...not to mention uplist any day now perfect storm! and the float is held by many faithful longs and may wealthy indiciduals who dont trade....youll see
