ThePennySlayer...I sent this/your post to Orie and this is his response:
"The writer is confused. The cost of engineers’ labor which is about 200k a year and other outside labor contractor who are all on 1099 is accounted for in COGS."

I also asked him if you could email him directly with any more concerns/questions. His response "Sure"
