Good morning to all. I finally read through all of the posts from yesterday, 9/26/18. I just want to add a few comments.
On the subject of old notes coming due- Lee has never informed us that loans were taken in exchange for stock and I don't think AMMX ever did that or paid for services via stock grants. He has been known to award stock to employees as bonuses and as part of salary for specific employees.
We are wise to monitor the restricted share count, however, over the years that I have been in this ticker, there has never been any significant change in the unrestricted share count. There have been historically a few changes but they were relatively minor and no one invested here has ever been upset by it.
AMMX is TRACE certified, I'll leave to those that are interested in what that means to look it up. I have my own opinions about what that could mean for the prospects of conducting business with certain countries, but the certification is generally seen as a very good thing and an asset to companies that are so certified, sort of like being ISO certified.
It has happened in the past that a bunch of "cheap" shares came to market and there was a lot of speculation about where they were coming from. When asked , the company categorically denied any knowledge of newly unrestricted shares being sold or by whom. It is quite possible that these shares have been free trading shares that were purchased a long time ago at sub penny rates and have for some reason come to be sold. Perhaps a large share holder had a change of heart or mind or financial reason to sell. I know what that is like as I had to sell hundreds of thousands of shares in order to save my house a few years ago. (at one point I almost had a million shares here).
I would not be to worried about United Rental, I think AMMX is too small and specialized for UR to bother with and I don't think Lee has any inclination of selling but would rather keep the business in the family. Of course there is always the prospect that UR could be formidable competition if they decided to target and go after AMMX, but again I think it unlikely.
