But the gambit does raise the possibility that it will be answered by some rough justice from the conservative side of the field. It will be interesting to see in the weeks and months ahead how many Democratic house and senate members will be revealed as would-be rapists and sluts. I can’t imagine that none of them have secrets to hide. In fact, I would take the Ramirez accusation as tantamount to a declaration of war by the Resistance. And as the old saying goes, all’s fair in love and war.

While it does raise possibilities, one must consider that republicans bend over backwards to appear "fair, and above all that." As in Laura Ingram's column this morening, Trump is trying mightily to teach republican wimps how to fight back, but it may be hopeless. I note that not one single democrite has come forward to say they think Kavenaugh is qualified and should be confirmed, and that this con job should stop, but we have half a dozen republicans who are trying to be seen as 'reasonable.' I don't think republicans have the stones to fight back in the manner of this democrat onslaught. More's the shame. Who will defend this country against the fascists?
