how come you did not factor in buying additional dirt cheap shares again in trip .000 after the reverse split

So you justify buying at $.0001 before a R/S because you can offset the loss by buying more at .000 after the R/S? That makes no sense. Either way, in the example I gave, your initial $1,000 is gone.

Why wouldn't you just wait until after the R/S splits are performed before you buy?
