You are correct, ¨These options have not even vested yet; so how could they exercise them.(?)¨

Certain execs have common stock awards(free shares) from previous years. Reference AB 2017 common stock award of 1,066,667 shares of which, per note 1, ¨Represents restricted stock which vests in two equal annual installments beginning on September 1, 2018 or upon the occurrence of certain events.

Without going into prior years, based on the referenced 2017 award, 533,333 shares can be sold as of 25 days ago.
