The FDA and its decisions on specific MJ cbd medications created by other companies has nothing to do with passage of the farm bill. You're talking apples and oranges. THE POINT IS AN AMERICAN CAN BUY HEMP CBD OIL BY CANB AND GET THE BENEFITS OF IT WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION IN 50 STATES TODAY!...the confusion is oil from both plants is touted as CBD oil BECAUSE THESE ARE RELATED PLANTS WITH SIMILAR BENEFITS except MJ CARRIES HIGH LEVELS OF THE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE THC. The farm bill is going to legalize hemp growing in the US which has been illegal for 50 years because of its relationship to pot, but the making of hemp oil with imported seeds has been legal in the US. The issue with CBD oil created from MJ is it has to have THC extracted, which is not an issue with hemp. And the FDA has to approve usage of such MJ created cbd oil as part of a "medication" brought into the US, such as epidolex made with MJ oil (MAKING IT A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE), which you mention, made by GW Pharmaceuticals, a British company.
