Thanks for your kind words, TacoTico
Like AC7880 remarked upon, there are so many different factors which influence a given individual’s “optimal” sell plan
What’s optimal for one may be too conservative or too risky for another
So whatever sell strategies that I may personally wind up utilizing are not likely to be optimal for a wide swath of the investing public
In addition, based on the factors which many people appear to take into account when making selling decisions, my own viewpoint is fairly unconventional
Furthermore, I have spent nowhere near the time investigating selling factors that possess predictive value for optimizing % gains inside of a mania as I have analyzing buying factors that determine stock selection to maximize % gains inside of a mania
That being said, one thing that I do think is a good general recommendation for almost any investor is to continually evaluate whichever factors one does utilize to make selling decisions, because these factors are likely to evolve regularly over time with changes in the story of the stock, the price of the stock, sector-specific factors, the politicolegal environment, etc, as well as more investor-specific factors such as one’s financial situation
For the large majority of people, I don’t think a fixed and rigid plan works very well during manias
Manias are examples of very special circumstances and stock prices break all kinds of “rules” that may govern more typical trading environments
So during a cannabis mania, my biggest recommendation is to regularly check in on whatever factors may personally affect your individual selling strategy, as these factors are likely to be in a continual state of evolution throughout the mania
Best of luck to you TacoTico, I think you have a good head on your shoulders
