HEAR - Wade, i've pointed out how it looked like a classic case of a stock hitting upper resistance at the 20dma and then falling back down to find new level of support. This happens all the time to stocks. The HFT algo-driven bots take over the trading and it can all happen very very quickly.

I've seen far too many stock-charts over the years -- and what i see convinces me that, especially with all the computerized trading in the past decade and more, TA (not fundamentals) is driving at least 60-80% of the up-down behavior of stocks.

That's why, whenever i hear someone mention a stock or a sector etf, usually the first thing i do is look at the chart to see if it looks promising.
